This is the airport you will need to fly into for the weekend. We planned our wedding on a Friday with the idea that our guests will have a couple days to settle in or explore the island. We suggest arriving Wednesday, July 10th—if not earlier!

If you are staying at a resort in Waikiki, you have 4 different transportation options; you can either take a taxi, a private shuttle, a shared shuttle or a bus. Taking a taxi or private Honolulu airport shuttle are the quickest and most convenient options as the journey only takes 15 minutes.

We highly recommend renting a car for the weekend to make it easier to travel around the island. Another option to consider is sharing a rental car with some fellow guests!

In addition to the usual car rental agencies, we recommend checking out the website Turo (think 'the Airbnb of rental cars").

Ride share apps such as Uber and Lyft are also active on Oahu.

There will be a shuttle provided to and from the wedding venue.

We strongly recommend booking your rooms (and flights) in advance.

The wedding venue is on the east side of the island but we will be staying in Waikiki and will be offering a transportation shuttle from Waikiki to Kualoa Ranch on the wedding day for guests.

Waikiki

This is where we will be staying. We have a room block with a discounted rate of $279 + fees

Some notes on the block-

• Please select your desired dates and select “check availability” button from the main page. This will take you to a reservation site with the room types. If the block is sold out please let me know and I will see if I can add more rooms.

• When the availability and rate is shown, nightly room rate inclusive of retail destination fee and taxes will be displayed. 

• When you confirm the reservations, taxes and fees will be auto populated to the retail rate (and NOT the discounted rate you receive). A discounted destination fee will be reflected at the time of check out from the hotel.

• You will use your own credit card to confirm the reservation. However, there will be no deposit charged at the time of booking. All payment will be due at the time of check-out and the final room folio will reflect ALL discounted fees.
